This place is the best!! It's so famous in LA and all their drinks, pastries, cakes, food is so good!! The staff is always so friendly and they make you feel welcomed!! Shout out to Chris!! He was super friendly and kind! He needs a raise! Very great at customer service! Thank you for the great experience! I recommend this place to everyone! Will be back very soon!
Hands down the best matcha and Vietnamese coffee in LA!!!! I get the matcha all the time, just by the color you know it's good. They also have amazing dunuts. Coffee is great and STRONG. The service is fast and friendly. Ambiance is nice, usually playing music.
I am so happy I got to stop by here! Completely by accident, I think I found my new favorite cafe. I had never tried "Roti" before and was always pleasantly surprised. I had a blueberry roti and half a "snow cap" ...so light, so perfect for coffee! Staff was incredible. The wait was not bad AT ALL for how busy it was. Definitely come early! The vibes were vibing overall, I cannot wait to try something new next time I'm in the area!
Cafe Dulce is a fantastic spot that hits all the right notes! I tried the blueberry matcha, green tea roti, and iced coffee, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get. The service was friendly and efficient, making for a pleasant visit. One thing to note is that seating inside is quite limited, so you might need to take your goodies outside. Fortunately, that wasn't a problem, and the outdoor seating was just fine. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Dulce for anyone looking for a great coffee and pastry experience. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or enjoying a leisurely treat, it's definitely worth a stop!
Café Dulce is a must if you have a sweet tooth! The pastries on display are cute, making it hard to choose just one. Service is always easygoing. I had their matcha, and while it was served through a surprisingly a gallon jug, the taste was still yummy. Dulce go-to place for my matcha needs in the Little Tokyo Plaza. You can do street parking or park in the Plaza, also there are no bathrooms. Also limited seating space indoors.
Little Toyko snack time. Follow the long line out the door to this super Korean bakery for donuts, drinks and my favorite -- sesame rolls. I know the donuts look (and taste) awesome, but if you've never had one of these 'dino eggs' (crispy outer shell, soft and chewy inside), you have got to try one. They're usually the first thing to sell out in the morning at other Korean bakeries (Paris Baguette, Tours le Jours), but I can usually find some here, even in the afternoon. Tons of fun drink options here. I went with the Blueberry matcha and I could have gulped down another one. There's a long, thin counter inside which I recommend. Tables outside, but ... bees. Guess everyone wants a donut. Cheers!
I'll make this a quick one! - there can be a line as it seems to be a popular spot in little Tokyo I would definitely come back to try their food, a lot of people were ordering sandwiches and salads but I just wanted a sweet treat. I got a strawberry cream donut which was good, the cream on top was not too sweet! Very pretty pastries they have. Their latte was delicious as well!
Undoubtedly another popular spot in the plaza, rarely do you see them without a line spilling to the outside. There is minimal table space inside and just a tad bit more space on the outside--snag it when you can. The service is friendly and efficient. Try their Matcha Latte, if you're inclined to. It's probably one of their more popular drinks and quite good. They also have some pretty pastries and other quick-service cafe options. They're staple and a vibe in the area.
Matcha iced blue berry latte 9/10 Fresh, strawberry filled donut 9/10 Matcha custard filled donut 9/10 Fantastic experience! I was in the neighborhood for a meeting and needed a proper caffeine & baked goods fix. You can't go wrong with a donut as aesthetically pleasing & delicious as the fire truck red, fresh strawberry filled donut. The staff recommended it & I'm glad they did. I thought my love of matcha was limited to beverages before I tried the fried donut, The matcha dough Portuguese donut with the vanilla custard was spectacular. The staff were exceptional, I felt well taken care of.
I really enjoyed their bakery items and drinks but not really the Korean Philly cheesesteak. They gave us our drinks in a matter of less than 5 minutes! But where I wasn't the happiest was when you bite into the Philly cheesesteak it's so ever from the hot kimchi and bulgogi the juices just fall which can really be messy. My friend let me try the churro bread thing which tasted amazing and would definitely get that next time. I believe I got the brick toast which was very simple and light! It is a little smalll so I recommend getting the sneaking in the shade next time.
